CSCAR Workshop: Statistical Analysis with R — May 1, 3

R is a free and open source environment for data analysis and statistical computing. While R contains many built-in statistical procedures, the most unique feature of R is the facility for users to extend these procedures to suit their own needs. Excellent graphics are another reason R is gaining wide popularity.

What: CSCAR Workshop: Introduction to Statistical Analysis with R Fees: $347 – U-M Affiliated / $788 – Not U-M Affiliated When: May 1 and May 3 (two sessions), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Where: Modern Languages Building 2001A Instructor: Dave Childers Prerequisites: A Windows instruction class or equivalent knowledge. Some experience in applied statistical analyses is recommended, but no programming experience is assumed (please email the instructor at dchilde@umich.edu with any questions).
