Omar Ghattas of UT-Austin to speak on “Bayesian Inversion for Large-Scale Antarctic Ice Sheet Flow” — Feb. 28

As part of the Michigan Institute for Computational Discovery and Engineering (MICDE) Seminar Series, Omar Ghattas, Director of the Center for Computational Geosciences at the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) at the University of Texas at Austin, will be speaking on campus. Ghattas’ talk is titled “Towards Bayesian Inversion for Large-Scale Antarctic Ice Sheet Flow,” and is scheduled for 4 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, in Room 2211 G.G. Brown Building (2350 Hayward).
