Register now for CI Days 2012 (November 7-8, Rackham Building)

Cyberinfrastructure (CI) Days 2012 is a two-day interactive event aimed at helping members of the U-M community learn more about advanced computational tools and support available for research in a wide range of disciplines. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. Wednesday, November 7 and Thursday, November 8 9:00 am – 5:00 pm each day Rackham Building, 915 E. Washington St., Fourth Floor Who should attend? CI Days is for U-M faculty, research scientists, graduate students, post-docs, and research support staff who either use or are interested in using advanced computing technology for research. Why attend? CI Days offers practical information on resources, services, and emerging technologies as well as the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues of concern regarding the use of advanced computing in research. The program includes keynotes by well-known experts, hands-on tutorials, and discussions. See the CI Days 2012 agenda for details. Students will have an opportunity to share their research through a poster competition (with cash prizes). Poster abstracts must have been submitted by October 16 to participate in the competition. CI Days is sponsored by the Office of Research Cyberinfrastructure.
